I am so excited to show off these Fairy Lanterns today!!  I found a tutorial for them on Pinterest.  The lady who made them used Laser cut fairies, but I wanted to see if it could be made with KKS stamps....and guess what....it can!!  I used two stamps for these.  One is "Fairy Loved" and the other is "Snowball Fairy".  Aren't they just super sweet!!
So what I did was to stamp the fairies on very heavy card stock.  Then I used a craft knife and cut the intricate holes in the wings before I actually cut out the stamp.  I also cut about 1/8 inch bigger around the stamp so I would have more wiggly room for the actually cutting for the wings.  Then I followed the tutorial from Pinterest.  The hardest part about making these is obviously cutting out the fairy, but it was well worth it!!

Supplies used: glass jars, glue, glitter, twine, flower and berry embellishments, white tissue paper and battery operated Tea Lights.

More pictures of the lanterns with lights on.

I hope you give these a try and think of all the fun KKS stamps you could use to make these...dragons would be wonderful!!  Thanks for stopping by!
